I just discovered this website last week when looking for a way to play axis and allies (classic spring 1942 WWII) on my iPhone since there is no iOS version of the game. I found this site after it was referenced in multiple forums as being the best AAA gameplay out there. I signed up and enjoyed playing the Africa land war intro map and have now been trying to seek out the classic 1942 map just to play solo against the computer. I discovered some maps require a premium or extreme account and I cannot find a way to upgrade for the life of me. Now I’m noticing the forum comments are all at least 3 years old. Guess I missed the party. : (
Just now realizing this seems to be a dead game

The original two versions of BATTLE FORCES were based on Flash. It required Flash to play, something that was usually included with browsers. This easy access allowed a fun group of players to grow and enjoy BATTLE FORCES.
Unfortunately due to security and maintenance concerns, Flash support began to be dropped from popular web browsers about three years ago. This had a direct effect on attracting new players and allowing existing players to play. As a result, active players have dropped.
Until recently, we have not had the time or resources for the large rewrite required to move BATTLE FORCES from Flash to a newer technology. Fortunately this has now begun. As you have experienced our new version can be played without flash. There is still much to do, but as we round out the features, we expect new players to discover us and enjoy a growing user base.
2020 will be the year of BATTLE FORCES growth! Stay tuned for enhancements and additions all year long.
See you on the battlefield,
The BATTLE FORCES Team
