Beta Test Phase 1 has gone very well, thank you for your feedback.

Phase 2 of the Beta Test will include some large internal changes to the game chat and game messaging systems. During this time, there will be a transition period of two overlapping messaging systems.

This will be a little ugly and confusing at first, so please bear with us. We will be making continual improvements. Once it is all sorted, we think you will enjoy the change.

Phase 2 will begin within the next 6 days.

Beta Test Phase 2 will begin later today.

Large changes that you will immediately notice:

• Game chat now has channels for player to player private chat in a game. This replaces both the old game chat and the game mail system.

• Old game chat at the bottom of the game screen will be visible, but will not operate. This will be removed completely soon.

• Old game mail system will be visible but will not operate. This will be removed completely soon.

We hope you will like the new chat structure as it makes it much easier to keep track of conversations with different players in the game. Missing, out of order and duplicate messages should now be a thing of the past. We will be making many further refinements to the look and feel of the chat.

One small problem:

At the top of the game screen there is now a bar across the top which contains the name and ID# of the game on the left and on the right it has a field that can be clicked to open the game chat. The problem is that this bar has shifted the screen image down which, for me at least, is causing the fields along the bottom of the screen to no longer be visible. I can scroll down to see them, but one of the things I like about the game is that it has always all been right there on the screen, no scrolling necessary. If this can not be fixed then I'm sure I will get used to it but I figured I should point it out.

Yes, we will be adjusting this with the next client update. Along with hiding the old chat and mail systems.
