On the log-in screen I have the remember password box checked. Little issue there: instead of showing my actual, 7 digit password it shows a long string of letters/numbers/whatever that extends past the boundaries of the password box.

This is by design. It reduces the ability of a passer by to know how many letters are in your saved password.
The characters displayed have no relation to your actual password.

Yeah I noticed haha. I was confused at first but then I discovered that about 10 seconds after I reported.
