Sorry to hear you are getting a blank blue screen. As mentioned on other threads, this is caused by the browser unable to support either WebGL or a specific hardware feature of WebGL. Often this is caused by an older operating system, older hardware, and/or older version of a web browser.

Since you mentioned you tied the most recent chrome version on your computer, it might be worth installing the Edge browser or Firefox and give them a try.

You are probably already aware, but worth repeating, Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft and is now considered a security risk. If possible, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10. It will make your system more secure and will probably correct any issues you are having with running the game.

That is great! Thank you Pulsar for posting. We have actually seen a few sign ups that probably came from that.

Putting together a youtube introduction video is on our todo list. It takes time to make a professional looking one, but we will rush one out soon and update it at a later date.

Also, for a limited time we would like to encourage everyone in our community to also create a BATTLE FORCES trailer video. Players who submit a captivating video of sufficient quality will be awarded a free year of Premium or Extreme Membership based on the judgement of the BATTLE FORCES Team. • Map edit zone name and type panel moved to left side from right.
• View game button color and text based off of turn required state.
• Warning dialog button colors swapped.
• Map edit now highlights selected zone all red.
• Map edit now defaults to 'Pick Zone for Details'.
• Map edit zoom icons location adjusted.
• Mouse cursor updated for solo and multiplayer join game lists.

The BATTLE FORCES team is very proud to announce that BATTLE FORCES is now fully functional on tablets. BATTLE FORCES can now be played on your desktop, laptop or tablet!

Out goal has been to focus on the most popular tablets and most common browser on those tablets. So for best results, please use Safari on iPads and Chrome on Android tablets.

As you may know, tablets come in an immense array of different configurations, so the experience on a given platform will differ. You can help us improve the breadth of our tablet support by reporting issues in the Bug Reports section of the BATTLE FORCES Forum. Please include clear details of the tablet make, OS and browser versions. We are currently aware of performance issues with Firefox on older Android tablets, as mentioned above, please use Chrome for better results.

Enhanced statistics have now been added to player detail screens. Map and scenario detail screens now have independent leaderboards for every map and scenario. Definitely some favorites out there!

Yes, WebGL is required for rendering. Older browsers may not have sufficient support. Installing a more current version of FireFox or Chrome should ensure that WebGL is available.

Unfortunately there is a chance that a much older computer will be unable to install the most recent version of FireFox or Chrome. In this case, BATTLE FORCES may not run. This might be what you are experiencing.

Map creation and editing has now been added for Premium and Extreme members. They now have the ability to create new maps and then scenarios from those maps.
