Yes. Certainly don't want to give the impression that I don't think there are reasons that are above my head as to why things might be the way they are. But I give my criticism like I take it: straight. But it was certainly meant to be constructive! I've clearly been spoiled by the before times.

For the old hands, is it just me, or are the new game mechanics woefully clunky? I wasn't sure I should take the time to play this game assuming the old mechanics, but these new mechanics seem insanely inefficient. No drag-and-drop functionality, no way to undo moves in a territory without undoing all moves, no way to reset the map/undo all moves, and much more. Also, does the map seem very blurry to anyone else?

I finished law school and started a job in "Big Law" a couple of months ago. I'm working in NYC and living just outside, but I hope to get out and start homesteading or something before the collapse.

Before even coming back, I was wondering why on earth the old website isn't still up and why it ever changed. That game was awesome, as was the community (in spite of a little drama here and there that naturally flared up, especially among people like the younger, dumber me). Miss you guys and the old game!

I'm seeing old messages from like 10 months ago. In response to one from LYR, I wrote how sad it is that this game just died. The old website (which to me, at least, was perfectly sufficient and even simpler -- and simple is good!) was alive and well, but this one just never made it off the ground. Pretty sad
