I hope not. I've tried other sites, but this is (was?) still my favorite.

Its been 11 days since problems first started and no response from the mods...... doesn't look good.

it was fun while it lasted, anyone know any other Axis & Allies sites?

I used to play this game a lot back in 2010 and loved every minute of it. I came back recently after remembering how much fun I had playing this game. Would be a shame for this game to die, this is the best online strategy game I've played.

Yeah that is a really great game. So is it the end? No games are available even solo player games....any info about that?

This game has been dying a slow death for awhile. Even before this new betta phase there have been problems. To large degree there was dissociation of what the users asked for and the direction in which the admins were heading with their game. The betta was then released largely incomplete which alienated a lot of users. Not to mention that the betta release cut down a lot of options that were there before and now asked for a payment. Which is fair given that people want to make money but the amount that they asked for was way behind what the game offered. In other words pricing was out of proportion.
End of my rant.

Now this game could be still salvaged and people would come back slowly if the game creators get their act together. I myself come back here every now and then to see what's going on and if things have improved.

I've starting playing games at https://dominating12.com/. I'll definitely come back here if it ever comes back to life since Dominating Twelve is more of a pure Risk style game of play (no extra unit types like tanks and planes).

I still check this site occasionally..wish it would come back to life.

While I understand things happen and the people running the site may have had enough with dealing with it, they should at least make an effort to tell everybody. If they don't want to run the show, maybe someone else does.

We have been working on some new BATTLE FORCES things and had closed ourselves off from any distractions. Unfortunately we did not have a proper alert for the failure that happened as the rest of the system was still functioning normally.
